2023 Holiday Message from our CEO

Dear Staff, Board and Friends of Career Path Services,

As the holiday season is upon us, I find myself reflecting on the traditions, lights, and music that warm even the darkest winter days. For many, this time of year holds special meaning, filled with gatherings of family and friends, quiet moments of reflection, and little rituals that connect us to memories and hopes.

One of my favorite holiday traditions was bundling up with my kids, picking up my mom and grandma, stopping for peppermint milkshakes, and slowly driving through neighborhoods to look at the beautiful light displays while listening to our favorite holiday songs. As simple as it was, there was always a feeling of warmth and light infused into those quiet moments—memories I cherish deeply as time has passed.

You each have your own meaningful traditions – both old and new – that you look forward to or reminisce about this time of year. Whatever holiday you celebrate and however you choose to spend these shorter winter days, I hope each of you feels a sense of joy, peace, and community during this season.

I share this closing thought, even when times feel heavy, the symbols and traditions of our winter holidays – candles, shared meals, evergreen trees, and plants – are all about finding light in the darkness, connection in the cold. My hope for all of us is that we recognize and nurture whatever small points of brightness we can find, stoking warmth to carry us through the winter.

Wishing you and yours a season filled with the light and love most meaningful to you.

Cami
