Out of Work? Let Us Help.

Career Path Services offers a number of programs to individuals seeking employment in Washington State.  We provide the following services to help you in your path to employment:

  • Adult Services - Adult Services are income based programs, assisting low-incom adults to obtain their GED, complete training and earn an occupational skills certificate and finally connecting them to employment in an in-demand occupation.
  • Community Access Services - CAS is a referral-only service for individuals with developmental disabilities who are age sixty-two (62) and older who have retired or who choose not to work and need assistance to access services in the community. Participants are referred to our Community Access Services by their assigned Case Resource Manager at the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
  • Community Jobs - Community Jobs supports Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) parents who want to work but lack skills, work history, and have other employment barriers like substance abuse, domestic violence, long-term sanction, mental health needs, homelessness, or the lack of a high school diploma or GED.  Referral by a DSHS Case Manager is required.

If you have participated in our community jobs program, why not take a moment and let us know how we did?  We offer two surveys below for participants and supervisors:

  • DVR Services - Individuals referred to us by DVR are eligible for services if the person has a physical or mental disability that results in a substantial barrier to employment and requires vocational rehabilitation services to get or keep a job. VRC's determine eligibility and the type of service we provide. Services are generally intense and short term, with a contract length range of 1 to 18 months. It's an enormous sign of confidence and trust when a VRC refers a customer to us. Our expectations of the participant are full and complete involvement in their search for employment. We're committed to helping participants reach their employment related goals, and we enjoy a preferred provider status in serving DVR participants.
  • Dislocated Workers - We work with individuals who have been laid off, at no fault of their own, from declining occupations. Our program can assist you with short-term training, enabling you to be reconnected to an in-demand occupation.
  • Individual Supported Employment - ISE is a unique service that's designed to meet the needs of job seekers who need an extra hand in finding and securing employment. Unique barriers to employment may need to be addressed and overcome, which is part of making a participant work-ready. We'll do our best to match a participant's interests, likes and dislikes in this process.
  • Youth Services - Youth Services are income based programs, assisting young adults ages 16-21 to either re-enter high school to earn a diploma or to get their GED, complete training and earn an occupational skills certificate.  The ultimate goal is to connect you to post secondary education or employment in an in-demand occupation.  In-School and Out-of-School Youth may be eligible for services through this program.

Eligibility requirements apply to each program, and enrollment is often limited.  Contact us today with your questions on how one of our programs can help put you back to work.
